Rocky IV Nesting Dolls!
I've been wanting to make this for a while! Rocky IV Nesting Dolls! It's the Rocky movie where he fights the six -foot-six Russian boxer Drago ("I must break you"). The fight takes place in Russia and had that whole USA vs. Russia theme (it was the cold war). This doll features Drago, Rocky Balboa, Apollo Creed, Paulie and Sico the Robot! The largest doll is 6 inches tall and the smallest is about an inch. Hand painted with acrylic on wood nesting dolls.

Urban Tides at the San Francisco Ferry Building
I'm excited to have been selected to be part of the Urban Tides Art Show! Voss Gallery has teamed up with the San Francisco Ferry Building for an exhibit opening on July 12th, 5-7pm. It's part of the Ferry Building Day Anniversary Celebration.

Here's my piece titled Presidio Bus Ride. It's 16"x20", acrylic on canvas. In this piece I wanted to mix urban/man made elements like the Golden Gate Bridge and a Muni Bus with the animals that inhabit San Francisco.
